Each May, Veredus Corporation sponsors the Annual May Day 5K run to benefit the Child Abuse Council and St. John Greek Orthodox Day School.

The Child Abuse Council is a private, non-profit agency that provides consultation, education and direct service programs to help children and strengthen families in Hillsborough County. The Council reaches thousands of children and adults through its programs each year.

The mission at St. John Greek Orthodox Day School is to maintain high academic standards while encouraging self-discipline, independence of thought, tenacity of purpose, creativity and spiritual well being. The school strives to instill in students a lifelong love of learning as well as the motivation to look within and beyond themselves so that they become responsible, contributing members of community life.

The race was a huge success and Veredus was proud to sponsor the event and support its beneficiaries.
